Walls

Walls

Darren Camp Music 2018

I never met the under-taker,

but if I do I'll ask a favor,

See, I don't want no guarantees,

I sure could use a little sympathy.

They tell me life is what I make it,

Then government thieves come take it,

I gave up trying to get high on love,

Coming down wasn't worth the buzz.

If my house is empty, I don't care;

I don't feel lonely if there ain't nobody there;

My heart, it won't be broke again;

Here inside these walls I built.

In my mind, I've done some rearranging,

The fools I trusted left me hanging,

Now I know they set me free

When they turn their backs on me.

I got everything I need.

If my house is empty, I don't care;

I don't feel lonely if there ain't nobody there;

My heart, it won't be broke again;

Here inside these walls I built.
