Jackson County Killer  Podcast

Jackson County Killer
Darren Camp Music 2015

I live in Jackson County
But I came from Hell
I've got lots of secrets
that I'll never tell
if you're passing through here
and you hear cries for help
you better keep on moving
If you wanna save yourself

'cuz I'm the Jackson County Killer
and I don't play around
If you cross my path,
you never will be found.
In this game there's just one winner
The Jackson County Killer

Inside me there's a hunger
that's screaming to be fed
then there's all these voices
that echo in my head
they're sending me a message,
a message from the dead
if I don't listen, they get really mad

some people call me crazy
they say that I'm not well
and if they try to take me,
they won't live to tell the tale

'cuz I'm the Jackson County Killer
I don't play around

If you cross my path,
you never will be found.
In this game there's just one winner
The Jackson County Killer

See You Again  Podcast

See you Again
Darren Camp Music  2001

It seems like a hundred years have passed in just one day,

If I could see you now, I would not hesitate,

mmmm, I'd be on my way.

I still smell the smell of your perfume,

Its got me walking circles in an empty room

MMM, gotta see you soon.

Iiiiii, wanna see you again

The way your smile replays its self inside my brain

is enough to make an ordinary man insane

But not me, 'cause you feel the same

Your laughter won't stop ringing in my ears

Oh, what I would give just to have you here

Need you right here

Iiiii, wanna see you again

It tears me up to have to watch you walk away

You gotta go but I wish like hell you'd stay

But I've got your memories just to get me through the day

I hope you know I mean it when I say.

I wanna see you again

I wanna see you again

Iiiiii, Iiiiiiiii, wanna see you again

Iiiiii, wanna see you again

IiiiiIIiii I wanna see you again.

Fool's Legacy  Podcast

Fool's Legacy

Darren Camp Music 2016

I've lived my life as a pauper

on the dimes and the quarters

that make their way down to me

I'd be lying if I said

my life's been easy

on the cold hard ground

my seed was sewn

where nothing but saw briars grow

When I draw my last breath

don't bother crying

I've been stubborn as hell

brought my troubles on myself

No, I can't blame anyone else

that there's no tribute to me

nobody salutes a fool's legacy

Strike your match and hold to my body

watch this flesh and these bones

be consumed by the flames

and when only the ashes

and carbon remain

send me down the river on slow gentle waves

For the first time in my life

I'll travel past the bend

I've dreamed of going since I was a kid

I'll just float with the current

no burdens on me

freedom, thank God

I found finally

Play me like a fiddle baby, you know what to do

Handle me with TLC , make sure that I'm in tune

Hold me close, hold me tight, hold me next to you all night,

Play me like a fiddle baby, and I'll sing for you.

Hey girl come on, play me like that lead guitar

You can make me scream and moan, just grab my whammy bar,

Plug me in, turn me on, I'll rock you all night long,

Play me baby, like a lead guitar,

Let's make some music, Just you and me,

We're gonna top the charts of intensity

I'll bet we have a hit with our chemistry

Let's make some music baby, Make sweet melodies

Play me like a bass guitar, and I'll go down deep,

I'll keep you grooving, moving to the beat,

I'll hit you low, I'll hit you hard, I'll reach down in your deepest parts,

Play me baby like a bass guitar,

Beat me like a drum, and make me come...

To where you are, You can be a star

Play me baby

Yellow Flowers  Podcast

Yellow Flowers
Darren Camp Music 2015

One day last spring, Dropping Kids off at school

by the side of the road, There they stood

Yellow flowers, bursting in bloom,

They reminded me of the spring, We spent in your room,

Hiding from the world, getting high to Dave Matthews,

You were an open book, and I was too.

Looking out your window, throught the trees in the meadow,

Full of life and power, I can still smell,

Those yellow flowers; Yellow flowers

So long ago, I'll never forget, how everything felt so right- I've got no regrets

So many things, were left unsaid; sometimes it's best to let go,

and keep the memories instead.

We burned so hot, like gasoline

running hot, running lean,

and then one day,

it all disappeared.

I'll always smile, when I think back,

About the love that was ours

and those yellow flowers

Those yellow flowers.

Believe  Podcast

Believe

Darren Camp Music 2015

You woke up a feeling inside me

I thought it was dead but its just been asleep

I'd fallen from grace; misplace my faith,

Didn't have much reason to believe

You sparked a revival, cast doubt on my denial

gave me reason to see, faithfully; became my survival

so I'm down on my knees, begging you please

bring me through the fire; quench my desire,

help me believe.

I close my eyes and I pray

that someday I find a way to repay

This debt back to you, love you never knew

You'll hear these words and you'll say,

You sparked a revival, cast doubt on my denial

gave me reason to see, faithfully; became my survival

so I'm down on my knees, begging you please

bring me through the fire; quench my desire,

help me believe ** Bring me through the fire, quench my desire, Help me Believe

Don't Bring Me Down  Podcast

Don't Bring Me Down

I Always see all this bad on TV

Too much corruption,war and destruction

Tempers flaring, sirens blaring

Sometimes I need just a little room to breathe

Don't bring me down

No, don't bring me down

Just remember when you come around

Don't bring me down

I feel like I carry the weight of the world

Temperature's rising, it's beginning to boil

So my friend, won't you please help me through

When I spend my time with you?

Don't bring me down

No, don't bring me down

Just remember when you come around

Don't bring me down

Repeat Chorus

5 O'Clock News  Podcast

5 O'clock News

Could you paint a darker picture if you tried?

Does your conscience scream at you from deep inside?

Is there nothing that makes you want to stop?

The darkest hour of the day is five O'Clock.

How many died today, how many cried?

You spell it out like its so cut and dry.

You smile and plant your seed of rotten fruit.

You're the Reaper's speaker in a 3-piece suit.

Your canvass lies within us all,

your pessimistic views have got me against the wall,

you pain with red and black and even darker hues,

Its the showcase of death, the five O'Clock news.

Prime time is crime time, what purpose does it serve?

"Reap what you sew", I hope you get what you deserve,

Death-hungry vultures, with murder on the brain;

All of this madness is making me insane.

Your canvass lies within us all,

your pessimistic views have got me against the wall,

you pain with red and black and even darker hues,

Its the showcase of death, the five O'Clock news.

The five O'Clock news

The five O'Clock news.

In The Saddle  Podcast

In the Saddle

Copyright 2014 Darren Camp Music

She's up early in the morning, it's her best time of the day

She's a little bit neurotic, some might even say insane

Her satisfaction is just episodic, there's always someone else to blame.

You'll never see her crying, but things ain't always what they seem

on the outside she'll be smiling, while she crumbles underneath

She's only happy when she's in the saddle

and her horse is kickin' up the dust

When she's riding life ain't such a battle

the only thing she really loves;

is her horse

She hates to make decisions, she'd rather leave it up to me,

She stands firm on her convictions, but they never offer her relief

She's so full of contradictions, but oh so sure of her beliefs,

She's only happy when she's in the saddle

and her horse is kickin' up the dust

When she's riding life ain't such a battle,

the only thing she really loves;

is her horse

Some days its tough to keep on tryin'

and the truth is hard to see,

but if she's riding, she's not cryin'

There's nowhere else on Earth that she'd rather be

She's only happy when she's in the saddle

and her horse is kickin' up the dust

When she's riding life ain't such a battle

the only thing she really loves;

The only thing she really trusts

Is her horse

Heaven and Hell  Podcast

Heaven and Hell

Copyright 2014 Darren Camp Music

You've got the fire of Hell in your eyes; You really melt me baby that's no lie,

I swear and angel must have gave you her smile,You give me feelings that I can't deny

(You put me through Heaven and Hell)

When I'm around you I lose my cool, I try to talk to you and I sound like a fool

If you're my teacher, send me back to school; You can give me lots of homework, too

('cuz there's a lot we could do... just me and you)

I wanna love you but you don't know me,

Do you think I could kiss you maybe,

I'd drown if I thought you would save me,

I'd do anything to call you my baby

I bet the Devil gave you those hips, The Lord above made your lips,

I can tell you've got the sweetest soul, with a passion that comes from below

(ooh, way below......and everyone knows that)

You're perfection in a package deal, You've got brains and your body kills,

Where you came from I just can't tell, It's got to be Heaven and Hell

(ooh Heaven and Hell..... that's just as well)

I wanna love you but you don't know me,

Do you think I could kiss you maybe,

I'd drown if I thought you would save me,

I'd do anything to call you my baby

I wanna love you but you don't know me,

Do you think I could kiss you maybe,

I'd drown if I thought you would save me,

I'd do anything to call you my baby

I bet the Devil gave you those hips, The Lord above he to made your lips,

Where you came from I just can't tell, It's got to be Heaven and Hell
